I don't do NAPS!

When you get to work and you make the first pot of coffee, and the toilet seats are still up.. you know you get there early...

Anyway, I am getting so excited about the wedding. I think once the countdown reached the "6 months and something" mark, I developed butterflies. I sent Save the Date magnets out, and apparently some of them arrived a little damaged. Well, the actual magnet was not damaged, but the envelope was. Maybe I can borrow that from Karma, and that will be the only thing that goes wrong throughout this whole process.... I wish.... We have a workshop to go to on Saturday at the church.

I know this post isn't incredibly interesting, but I just wanted to say "Hi" really and post this picture...

Nudie awards, but John watched the water

John recorded this for me in Vegas. He was there on business, and they kept all of them really busy. The nudie awards were there this weekend!

A look back in time...

Kayden was 23 months old in this video. I just found it, and I laughed until I cried. I'll show it to her and update with her reaction. She is just now grasping the fact that yes, she too was once a baby :-)

Daddy came home today from tree watching. His hunting season this year consisted of taking pictures of my Grandmother's donkey, the leaves changing and raccoons. OH - my bad, I think he got a picture of a bobcat... I think...

Anyway, he came back from tree watching, and we all went to the park with Kayden's friend Skylar. Skylar lives across the street, and her parents are our friends, too. We have a GREAT street, by the way. I think we might qualify as neighbor snobs. We have the BEST.

I took my camera, kids and determination to the park. A friend that I used to work with shot some awesome film pictures of Kayden, when she was about eighteen months old. I thought I would take my digital in black and white mode for a spin to see if I could get the same effect. I think I got some great shots, although I am so green at this. The goal, and yes there is one, is to have a wall decorated with the most beautiful black and white shots of the girls that I can possibly muster.

This was the first stab at that...

Daddy took her down the slide.

Such a trusting little face.

The ONLY time that I could catch her, before she ran from me!

Uh, excuse me, I'm trying to swing here, people..

You'll have to speak with my agent.

Super Sports Action Mode! It works!

Kayden's friend Skylar. This was my favorite of her.

I seee youuu.

My favorite.

Cookie Commentary....

I film the majority upright... no need to adjust your screen :-)

You make 'em, you eat 'em.

Kayden made cookies for the first time. I hope she is starting to remember stuff that we do together, like this.

She's such a big girl.

And we haaave...

LIFTOFF!!!!!!!!

I was washing dishes this morning, and looked up to see Miss Kylee on her knees! I rushed to get my camera, stubbed my toe and hurriedly switched the mode to the super action sport mode. Gotta be sure that you catch all the super fast crawling action! There wasn't much movement, other than bouncing back and forth. BUT, if memory serves me correctly, it won't be any time, until we have MOTION! Look out, Kayden, Kylee's on the move!
